Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to lots of traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a lover of operas and tangos. Also, she loves drama performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play the piano from an early age, along alongside her mother. The formal training in singing at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang at Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives, both as an educator and performer due to her passion for music and art. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share her love of the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to help keep the traditions in the present.
