Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born July 8, 1989 in Paris. After moving to Oxfordshire at the age of five, Emma attended The Dragon School. Emma had a dream to be a professional actress from the age of at the age of six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school which offers classes for part-time students. When she was 10 years old, Emma took part in many Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel began casting in 1999.
